Carrot and Apple Smoothie

A delicious refreshing breakfast smoothie. A filling drink that can supplement a light breakfast.

  • 1 crunchy apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1 medium carrot (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 Celery stick (chopped finely)
  • Juice from 1 small lemon
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • ½-3/4 cup water
  • Ice cubes
  1. I used my extractor to make this smoothie. Alternately, you can make this in a blender and strain later or use a food processor.
  2. Put apples, carrots, and celery along with stevia in the extractor.
  3. Add ½ cup water to this and blend until smooth.
  4. If you are doing this in a blender, remove and strain.
  5. Add the remaining water and lemon juice to this (may want to taste first to see if adding the rest of the water will dilute it too much)
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add Ice cubes and serve cold.
  8. You could also add a cucumber to this smoothie to make it more refreshing.
