These roasted red peppers make a great flavor enhancer for a variety of foods.
Roasted Red Peppers
By roasting the red peppers, then removing the char, you are left with a softer, sweeter, and more flavorful addition to many foods.
- Red Peppers
- optional: variety of other types of peppers of choice
- Flame roast the peppers over gas stovetop, grill, or broiler. Watch the peppers to blacken, and remove from heat. Let cool and then scrape the char off the outer of the pepper. The inside will be red and soft.
Keep these peppers in a jar in the fridge and use to top salads, mix into egg white dishes, enjoy as a snack or side while mixed with other vegetables to add more flavor. Use to increase your serving size by mixing with your protein.
