We have received numerous queries from new patients during the consultation about why we do not offer HcG. Our patients have been well aware of Heal n Cure’s position on HcG ever since advertisements promoting its use appeared. Here is our opinion again –
“Numerous clinical trials have shown HcG to be ineffectual in producing weight loss. HcG injections can induce a slight increase in muscle mass in androgen-deficient males. The diet used in the Simeons method provides a lower protein intake than is advisable in view of current knowledge and practice.” And so, Heal n Cure does not recommend use of HcG for weight loss.
Finally – FDA has also come out strongly against using HcG. It says – “There are reckless ways to shed pounds—fads and diet aids that promise rapid weight loss, but often recommend potentially dangerous practices.
