
Store-bought chips are fried in fat and loaded with sodium. These tongue-tingling triangles get their flavor from cayenne pepper. With only 4 ingredients you can quickly and easily make a batch in minutes
Healthy & Spicy Tortilla Chips
- 1 Ezekiel tortilla
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- Lime juice and/or cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add lime juice and/or cayenne pepper if desired. Cut the tortilla into 8 wedges. Add the tortilla pieces in a single layer and heat on each side for 5 minutes or until crispy but not too brown. Sprinkle with salt and enjoy.
- Alternatively, you can bake the tortillas in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and brush the olive oil and seasonings on one side of the tortilla. Cut into 8 wedges arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 7 minutes or until crispy. Sprinkle with salt.
